As many of you will be aware, Barry Rocard passed away suddenly last month.

Barry’s passing has left a void in many facets of the cornerHOUSE. Barry was involved in the minutiae as well as the more visible parts of the place. He did the gardening, ran the laminator, managed the noticeboards, put out the seating and yet of course he was a gifted actor, with roles in upcoming productions, an experienced producer, core to getting shows on competently, an able marketer, anxious that shows get the audiences they deserve, and a much loved front-man for the film club amongst many other things.

Barry’s funeral will be on Friday 9th October at Kingston Crematorium, 83 Bonner Hill Road, KT1 3EY at 11am. After a private family lunch, there will then be a Celebration of His Life at the cornerHOUSE from 2pm.

All who knew Barry are invited to attend to pay their respects and have a drink in his memory.
