Stand up for Labour holds its second event for Kingston and Surbiton CLP, this time at the cornerHOUSE featuring three of the best comedians on the circuit as well as a raffle and a special guest speaker.
Lucy Beaumont won BBC Best Newcomer last year and has gone on to star in her own radio programme on BBC Radio 4 as well as on a TV series on BBC 3. Lucy appeared in a memorable night in Hull, in which she performed in front of John and Pauline Prescott.

Steve Gribbin was part of the double act Skint Video that appeared in Red Wedge and the cult TV programme Saturday Night Live. Steve regularly appears at the Comedy Store’s Cutting Edge night, in which he performs topical material. He has gone down a storm at Stand up for Labour events right across the country.

There are few comedians as laid-back and naturally funny as Norman Lovett. Known for appearing in Red Dwarf, Norman has been a regular headliner on the comedy circuit since the 1980s. He has appeared in three Stand up for Labour events in London.

Host for the night is Crispin Flintoff, a Labour activist who set up Stand up for Labour in 2012. Crispin appeared on Paramount’s The World Stands Up and was runner-up in the Hackney Empire New Acts Competition in 2007.
